We chose to breed Sue not only because she has an excellent pedigree,
correct conformation and three decent gaits but for her character which is truly exceptional.
Dedicated Sue lives up to her name. She is the epitome of heart and try.
She is sensible and sensitive. She is stoic in the face of injuries that would render the average horse lame. She has a will
like a bar of iron yet is as wanting to please as a child the day before Christmas.
Sue has a great work ethic, and as a mother she is strict though
gentle. She encourages independence, demands respect and fosters a sensible, loving nature.
Sue is by far the most intelligent horse I have known- and I have ridden,
groomed or 'met' some of the greats...Native Surf, Epic Win, Zinker, Touch of Class, Abdullah, Chef, Ibis de Logis, Fife,
Cannonball...
Sue may not have met her potential due to track injury and a pasture
accident but she will be known as one of the great broodmares.
She has presence.
If you want a horse who will 'throw his heart over the fence and jump
over to get it'; one who lights up under you when you sit in, a horse that has guts and wants glory then you want a Dedicated
Sue baby.
